Fenix will utilize the same eleven, which defeated Rentistas 3-0 in round six of the Apertura tournament. River Plate will be toughest opponent Fenix will have faced so far in the tournament. River does not want lose, as every point is crucial at the end of the tournament.

Liverpool-Sud America

According to Liverpool’s Manager, Favaro, the team has been performing well but just have been unable to get the wins. He states Liverpool create goal-scoring opportunities but have not been able to follow through. Favaro is confident they will be able to get the win from Sud America on Saturday.

Peñarol-El Tanque Sisley

Alonso was given the door, when Penarol did not win their last fixture against Wanderers.  Jorge “Tito” Goncalves is the new manager. Tito was nominated when Jorge Da Silva departed but Alonso got the position.

Tito has been in Penarol for a few years leading the youth the team. For this Saturday match he has already given a call-up to one of Penarol’s youngsters. Augusto Medina, is the chosen one. The 20-year-old will likely be in the bench for Saturday's match. This is Tito’s first incorporation of a youth player and it’s expected that Tito will incorporate more.

El Tanque will not be able to count on the following players, Yefferson Moreira, Cristian Palacios and Alejandro Siles. These players are on loan from Penarol and there is an agreement between the two clubs.

Miramar newly appointed manager, Gonzalo De Los Santos will make his debut against Danubio. Miramar needs to start winning points or they will likely face relegation. Danubio will be a tough opponent, as they do not want to lose their lead in the table.

The newly appointed manager at Miramar has led to a lot be unknown in regards to the lineup this Sunday. He has been experimenting with the roster and many changes have occurred throughout the week. The only confirmation that can be made is for the first time Hugo Casada will be at least in the bench if not in the starting eleven.

Nacional tied with fifteen points with River Plate cannot risk losing the match. However, Wanderers has a quality squad but their result have not been demonstrative of that. Earlier in the week Arruabarrena has given Wanderers recognition to have a great squad and stated “ They complicated Penarol in their last fixture and surely on Sunday they will be coming to “El Parque”  with the objective of taking points away from us.”. This will be a very entertaining match to watch.
